Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres has addressed growing speculation surrounding his future, amid reported interest from Premier League side Arsenal.
Speaking candidly after a recent match, the Swedish international remained tight-lipped about what lies ahead: “It’s impossible to say, we never know what happens in football,” he told reporters.
Gyökeres, who has been in sensational form this season, was also asked about the reported links to Arsenal. “I don’t know anything.
My focus was on the games,” he said. “If the links were true then… we will see this summer.”
The 26-year-old has emerged as one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards following an impressive campaign with Sporting, but for now, his future remains uncertain.
