Ekiti One Mind Lions Club, under Lions Club International District 404B2 Nigeria, has once again demonstrated its commitment to humanity by donating bedspreads and pillowcases to the health centre of Bamidele Olumilua University, Ikere Ekiti.
The club also provided notepads to the institution’s lecturers as part of its community outreach efforts.
Speaking during the distribution of the items, the Chartered President of Ekiti One Mind Lions Club, Lion Omolayo Oso, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the club’s mission to address the needs of society.
She reaffirmed the club’s dedication to making a lasting impact through acts of service and charity.
Representing the Vice-Chancellor, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olu Atunramun, expressed gratitude for the donations and appealed to the club to extend further support to the university.
Prof. Atunramun also encouraged members of the institution’s Leo Club to embrace their responsibilities and actively contribute to the club’s humanitarian initiatives.
