In a congratulatory message, Chief Oguntoyinbo, speaking on behalf of the Ilodo Quarter of Oye-Ekiti, described the monarch’s reign as one that has brought peace, unity, and remarkable progress to the kingdom.
He said the people of Oye Kingdom, both at home and abroad, were not only celebrating the monarch’s birthday but also acknowledging the uncommon grace, honour and protections God has bestowed on him and the entire community.
According to him, history would record that during the reign of Oba Ademolaju, Oye Kingdom witnessed landmark achievements, many of which were foretold by the founding fathers of the ancient town.
“Your reign has been a blessing, Kabiyesi. As custodian of our culture and traditions, you have demonstrated strong commitment to promoting our common heritage through constant engagement and collaboration with community leaders,” the statement read in part.
