Residents of Agbado Ekiti, in Ayekire Local Government Area of Ekiti State, have commended Hon. Babatunde Adaba, a board member of the Ekiti State Fire Service, for facilitating the grading of key roads in some neighbourhoods in the town.
While flagging off the grading, the Ooro of Agbado Ekiti, Oba Samuel Adesina, expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Adaba for the intervention, describing it as a significant relief for road users in the area.

The monarch noted that the gesture was in recognition of the community’s steadfast support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji, especially after residents appealed to the government to address infrastructure challenges during the construction of major routes in the town; a request that was favourably considered.
Oba Adesina offered prayers for Hon. Adaba, applauding him for the gesture while also thanking Governor Oyebanji for extending developmental projects to Agbado Ekiti and ensuring that the town is not left behind.
Speaking on the project, Hon. Adaba explained that the initiative was part of his efforts to support the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

He noted that the road grading would ease movement for road users in Agbado and neighbouring communities, while also boosting the fortunes of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the town and surrounding areas that would benefit from the improved roads.
Hon. Adaba equally stated that this was not his first intervention in community affairs, recalling that he had previously provided financial assistance to the family of the late APC chairman, Barrister Paul Omotosho, as part of his commitment to community support.

He pledged not to relent in his efforts, assuring that he would continue to contribute to initiatives that would ensure the success of Governor Oyebanji and the APC in Agbado and across Ayekire Local Government Area.
Residents also joined in offering prayers for Hon. Adaba, the traditional ruler and Governor Oyebanji, expressing hopes for continued progress and prosperity in Agbado Ekiti and the state at large.
