A former member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Ayodeji Ajayi, has applauded governor Biodun Oyebanji’s leadership style and developmental achievements across the state.
Ajayi, who currently serves as a board member of the Ekiti State Waste Management Authority, made the remarks following the public endorsement of Governor Oyebanji by the Forum of Chairmen and Board Members of Parastatals and Agencies in Ekiti State.
Describing Oyebanji as “a round peg in a round hole,” Ajayi said the governor’s approach to governance has been both pragmatic and people-centered, yielding positive outcomes in under three years.“Governor Oyebanji has not only sustained the legacy of good governance but has expanded it.

In less than three years, his administration has brought visible transformation to our infrastructure, civil service reforms, and social development,” Ajayi stated.
He also dismissed recent criticisms leveled against the administration by what he referred to as “politically motivated individuals and groups,” saying such attacks are baseless and do not reflect the current reality in the state.
“The noise from the opposition is nothing but a distraction. Ekiti people can see the roads being constructed, the prompt payment of salaries, the improved healthcare services, and the support for youths and small businesses,” he said.

Ajayi emphasized that Governor Oyebanji’s performance in the agricultural sector, Tourism development and Art and Culture is a clear reflection of his vision of Ekiti development.
“This is a man who understands the vision of our founding leaders. He is executing it with passion and commitment. Ekiti is in safe hands under Governor Oyebanji,” he added.

He stressed that the governor is committed to healthier and cleaner society through the effectiveness of the state Waste Management agency.
The former lawmaker urged residents of the state to rally behind the governor and give him the mandate to continue his transformational agenda beyond 2026.
