… Seeks Support for APC, Oyebanji
The member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives, Hon. Biodun Omoleye, has inspected ongoing township road projects in Aramoko-Ekiti, less than a month after construction began, expressing satisfaction with the level of work done so far.
The projects, situated in the Ijowa and Ijofi areas of the town, are part of efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance the living conditions of residents.
Speaking during the inspection, Omoleye said the visit was to ascertain the pace and quality of the work and to ensure timely delivery in line with project specifications.
The lawmaker, who was received by a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters despite the visit being unannounced, expressed appreciation for the show of solidarity, noting that it reflected the acceptance of his representation among the people.

He explained that the roads, when completed, would boost economic activities in the affected communities, while the construction of drainage channels on both sides was designed to ensure durability and effectively address erosion challenges in the area.
Omoleye disclosed that asphalt would be laid on the roads in the coming weeks, adding that solar-powered streetlights would also be installed upon completion to improve security and enhance nighttime visibility.
He urged residents of the benefiting communities to take ownership of the projects by protecting the infrastructure, warning against acts such as blocking drainage systems or cutting into the roads, which could reduce their lifespan.
The federal lawmaker noted that the inspection also enabled him to identify additional challenges affecting the projects, leading to the extension of some portions to accommodate the needs of the people.
He further assured constituents that more rural roads, particularly within farm settlements across the constituency, would soon be constructed as part of efforts to support agricultural productivity and rural development.

On the political front, Omoleye called on residents to continue supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both the federal and state levels, stressing that sustained support would translate into more developmental projects for their communities.
He also urged eligible voters to turn out en masse in the June 20 governorship election to re-elect Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for a second term, citing his achievements in key sectors including education, health, and agriculture.
In his remarks, the member representing Ekiti West Constituency I in the State House of Assembly, Kareem Agunbiade, described the road projects as unprecedented in Aramoko-Ekiti, noting that they represent a significant milestone in the town’s development.
Agunbiade called on residents to reciprocate the gesture by returning Omoleye to the House of Representatives for another term, assuring that the lawmaker would continue to deliver on his campaign promises.

Also speaking, a community leader, Oluode Olajide Ogunluyi, commended Omoleye for facilitating what he described as “legacy projects,” noting that the roads had reached appreciable stages within a short period.
Similarly, a resident, Deaconess Comfort Oyebade, expressed relief over the intervention, stating that the drainage systems would help address longstanding erosion issues in the area.
Both residents pledged their continued support for the lawmaker and offered prayers for his success in his political journey.
