The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has announced the promotion of the Secretary to the Ekiti State Government (SSG), Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, to the prestigious rank of Professor.
The decision was confirmed by FUOYE’s Promotion and Appointment Committee on Tuesday, with the promotion taking effect retroactively from October 1, 2022.
Dr. Adubiaro is a distinguished academic and administrator whose career spans decades in various institutions.
Before she was appointed SSG, she served as an Associate Professor of Industrial Chemistry at FUOYE and also contributed to academia at the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti.
In addition to her academic accomplishments, Dr. Adubiaro has demonstrated exemplary leadership in public service.
She has held notable positions such as Special Adviser on Women Affairs and Commissioner, Ministry of Women Affairs in Ekiti State, showcasing her commitment to societal development.
