As part of measures aimed at mitigating the effect of economic hardship being experienced by many Nigerians, the Executive Chairman of Irede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ekiti State, Hon. Ayo Awe has distributed food packs to vulnerable residents across the council area.

The distribution of the palliatives to over 250 beneficiaries took place on Thursday at the council secretariat, with beneficiaries drawn from the three Wards that make up the LCDA.

The gestures aiming to provide relief and support during this difficult time further demonstrated the chairman’s commitment to the well-being of his people.

Items distributed include rice, beans, semovita, seasoning and salt

The chairman, in his address, expressed appreciation to Ekiti State governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, for his giant strides in making life better for the citizens of the state through the implementation of people-oriented policies and programmes, which exemplifies his commitment to the welfare of the people.
