Nigeria’s fast-rising music act, Kayode Ajayi, popularly known as Mistikay, has unveiled plans to expand his reach across Africa as part of efforts to grow his fan base and strengthen his position in the continent’s music scene.
The artiste is set to embark on a strategic tour spanning key African cities, including Cairo, Nairobi, and parts of South Africa.
The move, according to him, is aimed at sharing his unique sound with a broader audience, building industry connections, and engaging music executives across the region.
Speaking on the development, Mistikay hinted at upcoming projects, including the release of an extended play (EP) and a new single titled Little Star, expected to drop later in 2026.
“To not bore my fans and win over new listeners, my team and I have been pouring our hearts into creating something truly special and relatable. I can’t wait to share it with the world,” he said.
The singer added that the forthcoming EP will showcase his versatility and creative depth, while promising more “soothing sounds” ahead of its release.
With his growing profile and cross-border ambitions, industry watchers say Mistikay’s latest move signals a deliberate push to establish himself as a notable voice in African hip-hop.
