“My Only Source of Income Is Gone” — Dispatch Rider Begs for Help After Bicycle Theft at Lekki Mall

…Alleges Security Lapses, Cover-Up

In a heartfelt plea captured on video, Adebayo Sodique a dispatch rider, has called out the management and security team of a lekky mall over the mysterious disappearance of his bicycle—his only means of livelihood.

“I parked my bicycle outside, thinking it was safe. But when I came out, it was gone,” Adebayo lamented. “That bicycle is my source of income. Without it, I can’t feed myself or my family.”

The incident, which reportedly occurred amidst a string of troubling events—including accidents and even a fatality—has raised serious concerns about safety and accountability within the premises.

Adebayo alleged that the management swiftly replaced the security personnel after the theft, suggesting a possible cover-up. While all efforts to speak with the management of the mall proved abortive, as well as reports to the police have not yielded any results to the myriad of allegations at the mall.

“There have been many accidents here. Someone even died in a car crash from the upper floor,” he alleged. “Now they’ve changed the security guy overnight. What are they hiding?”

He also mentioned that his bicycle was not the only one missing—others have vanished too, along with vital equipment like the “green box” used by dispatch riders.

“I’m begging the public—help me make this video go viral. Let them know what’s happening here is wrong,” he pleaded.

Adebayo again identified himself and reaffirmed his profession: “My name is Adebayo Sodique. I’m a dispatch rider. Thank you for listening.”
