Omoleye Urges Support For Oyebanji As APC Begins E-registration Exercise

As the governing All Progressive Congress(APC) commenced a major drive to update its membership database using digital tools, the lawmaker representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II, Hon. Biodun Omoleye, has called on his constituents to participate fully in the exercise.

Omoleye, in a statement made available to newsmen through his media office, described the exercise as “timely and commendable”, particularly in Ekiti State, where the governorship election is going to be held in the next few months.

He called on party leaders at the ward and local government levels to mobilize members for full participation in order to boost the winning strength of the party in the state.

The federal lawmaker emphasized that the initiative is aimed at strengthening the party’s internal structures, improving data integrity and enhancing coordination at the grassroots, calling for continued support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the forthcoming governorship election.

Omoleye also commended the national leadership of APC for initiating this technology driven registration exercise, saying the move will further consolidate the achievements of the APC-led government, both at the federal, state and grassroots levels.

Similarly, Hon. Omoleye has also called on his constituents to participate effectively in the second phase of the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Monday, January 5, announced the commencement of the nationwide CVR following the conclusion of the first phase, which officially ended on December 10,2025.

Omoleye called on the residents who have attained the age of 18 and all eligible constituents who are yet to register to take advantage of the resumption to enrol.
