In a bid to solidify political unity and reinforce support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s (BAO) second-term bid, the Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba has convened a crucial meeting with key political leaders in the council area.
The gathering, which brought together stakeholders from across Moba, underscored the urgent need for collective action to ensure Oyebanji’s re-election.
At the meeting, Hon. Fadugba emphasized the necessity of an emergency strategy session to be held in the coming week, where political stakeholders would deliberate on mobilizing widespread endorsement for BAO’s second term.
He stressed that Moba must take a frontline role in the campaign, ensuring that the governor’s achievements and ongoing developmental strides are effectively communicated to the electorate.
Fadugba warned attendees against any counter-movements or opposition within the party, which could threaten the prevailing consensus, calling on all party faithful to remain vigilant against individuals attempting to undermine the established stance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Moba.
He expressed profound gratitude to the political leaders for their unwavering commitment to his administration’s successes.
The Moba LG Boss urged them to continue offering wise counsel and steadfast cooperation in the collective mission to secure a brighter future for Moba and Ekiti State at large.

Buttressing the decision, the APC Moba Party Chairman, Mr Adeyeye urged members to remain steadfast in upholding party unity.
He pointed out that disgruntled members were particularly vulnerable to external influences seeking to sow discord and emphasized that while engaging dissenting voices, party leaders must exercise diplomacy to restore stability and cohesion within the party structure.
Also, a respected APC leader from Otun Ward, Senator S.O. Kolawole, suggested that a dedicated meeting be held to engage with affected members and clarify any grievances.
According to him, direct engagement was crucial in resolving disputes and ensuring all factions remained committed to the party’s goals.
