Former Member of the House of Representatives and convener of the monthly fitness initiative “The BAO WALK,” Hon. Bimbo Daramola, has declared his support for the second-term bid of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji.
Daramola, while speaking to journalists, described Governor Oyebanji’s performance in his first 30 months in office as “outstanding and transformational,” stating that the governor’s achievements have earned him the overwhelming trust and confidence of Ekiti people.
Highlighting the delivery of Oyebanji’s six-point development agenda, Daramola commended the governor for keeping faith with his election promises.
He noted that the administration’s focus on critical sectors, particularly health, education, infrastructure, and economic development, has brought visible improvements across the state.
The former lawmaker, who recently toured several renovated and ongoing health projects initiated by the Oyebanji administration, explained that “The BAO WALK” was instituted to complement the governor’s strides in promoting a healthier society.
According to him, the initiative encourages fitness and wellness among citizens, aligning with the government’s broader healthcare reforms.
Daramola urged the people of Ekiti not to relent in their support for Governor Oyebanji, emphasizing that consistent and collective backing is crucial for sustaining the current momentum of development and consolidating the gains achieved so far.
“Governor Biodun Oyebanji has demonstrated uncommon commitment, integrity, and capacity in the discharge of his duties.
His leadership has rekindled hope and trust in governance. It is therefore imperative that we, as beneficiaries of his good governance, support him for a second term to deepen the progress Ekiti State is witnessing,” Daramola stated.
He called on political stakeholders, community leaders, and citizens to rally behind the governor’s re-election project, stressing that continuity in leadership will ensure the full realization of the administration’s vision for a more prosperous Ekiti State.
