…Pledges Support for Governor Oyebanji
In a bid to alleviate hunger and support the less privileged, the Adedayo Oluwasanmi Foundation has once again put smiles on the faces of vulnerable residents through the distribution of food items.
The latest empowerment initiative took place at the palace of the Olomuo of Muo Ekiti, Oba Noha Omonigbeyin, where beneficiaries received essential food supplies such as rice, beans, semolina, garri, spaghetti and salt among others.
This follows similar interventions by the foundation in Gbonyin and Emure Ekiti, as well as in the diaspora, where Pharmacist Adedayo Oluwasanmi has continuously given back to society.

Commending the philanthropist, Oba Noha Omonigbeyin lauded Pharmacist Oluwasanmi for his selfless service to humanity, emphasizing that despite not being a politician, he remains dedicated to easing the plight of the people, just as the monarch prayed for divine blessings upon him.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Pharmacist Oluwasanmi emphasized the importance of extending kindness to one’s neighbours, citing biblical teachings on compassion and support for the needy.
“We must always be our brothers’ keepers. This initiative is aimed at cushioning the effect of economic hardship on the less privileged,” he stated.
Xraying his broader empowerment programmes, he noted his efforts to encourage youth participation in agriculture by providing incentives and other forms of support.

He also commended Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji for implementing various empowerment initiatives that have transformed the state, describing his efforts as complementary to the governor’s vision.
Meanwhile, in a significant political move, Pharmacist Adedayo Oluwasanmi officially declared his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ode Ekiti.
Welcoming him to the party, the APC Ward 2 Chairman in Ode Ekiti, Mr Oluwadare Fasanmi, expressed confidence that Oluwasanmi’s entry would boost the party’s credibility.
He urged members to remain committed to initiatives that would bring honour to the party.
Explaining his decision to join APC, Pharmacist Oluwasanmi said he decided to join politics as a larger platform to expand his philanthropic activities and impact more lives.
“For Nigeria to prosper, collective efforts are required. APC, under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, has positively impacted Ekiti people, and I believe aligning with this party will enable me to do even more for my community,” he stated.
He pledged to make Ward 2 in Ode Ekiti a model within the state and appreciated party leaders, members and youth for their warm reception.
As a way to further promote youth development, Pharmacist Oluwasanmi provided cash grants to young people in Ode, Aisegba, Ilu Omoba and Ijan to enable the young ones to venture into agriculture.
Speaking on the initiative, the philanthropist emphasized that creating employment is vital for a prosperous society and assured those who had yet to benefit that their turn would soon come.

In a goodwill message, Ekiti State Commissioner for Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Prof. Mobolaji Aluko, represented by his assistant, praised Oluwasanmi for his passion for human development, stating that his decision to join APC would further strengthen the party’s influence.
Some beneficiaries, including Taiwo Omoleye, Ogubanbi Deborah, and Mrs. Olalonpe, expressed gratitude to Pharmacist Oluwasanmi for his generosity and offered prayers for his continued success.
Meanwhile, young beneficiaries like Ogunsakin Felix, Sunday Olokunlola, and Ayomide Fabarebo who received cash for farming, applauded the Adedayo Oluwasanmi Foundation for empowering them financially through investment in agriculture.
Pharmacist Adedayo Oluwasanmi later visited the palace of the Olóde of Ode Ekiti (Ayekire), Oba Samuel Aderiye, where the monarch offered his blessings and advised him to tread carefully in the political arena, noting that politics can be unpredictable and complex.
