In a gesture showcasing the inclusive leadership style of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Hausa Community Affairs, Alhaji Hussein Bawa, has distributed food items to over 300 members of the Hausa community across various parts of Ekiti State.
The distribution, which took place in Shasha Market, Ikere, as well as Shasha BAO (Agric Olope) and Atikankan areas in Ado-Ekiti, was part of Alhaji Bawa’s continued efforts to give back to his people in line with Governor Oyebanji’s consistent call for appointees to support their communities.

“I am giving back to the Hausa community as their representative in the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. The Governor has repeatedly encouraged us, his appointees, to support our people in whatever way we can, no matter how small. This gesture is also in the spirit of the recently concluded Eid-el-Fitr celebration.” Bawa said.

He added that this is not his first time reaching out to the community as he had been identifying with his communities during the previous years.
“I did something similar during Sallah last year, and I will continue to do so to strengthen the trust of our people in this government and to assure them that Governor Oyebanji has the interest of the Hausa community at heart.”

Joining him during the distribution was the Deputy Chairman of the Hausa community in Ekiti, Alhaji Hamid Musa, popularly known as Alhaji Yaro, who praised Alhaji Bawa as a worthy representative in Governor Oyebanji’s administration.
He reaffirmed the community’s unwavering support for the governor, assuring Governor Oyebanji that the Hausa community stands firmly behind him now and beyond 2030.
