Relief for Iro/Osan Ekiti as Fadugba Moves to Restore Power After Storm Damage

Following the recent heavy rainstorm that wreaked havoc in parts of Moba Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba, has directed the immediate replacement of damaged electricity poles along the Iro–Osan Ekiti Road.

The storm, accompanied by strong winds, led to the collapse of several concrete poles, resulting in a power outage that affected residents and disrupted daily activities in the affected communities.

According to reports, 10 electricity poles were brought down by the storm, posing both safety risks and inconvenience to road users and residents.

Acting swiftly in response to the situation, Hon. Fadugba mobilized relevant authorities and stakeholders to commence urgent replacement of the damaged poles to restore electricity and ensure the safety of the affected areas.

He reassured the people of Osan Ekiti of his administration’s unwavering commitment to community welfare, rapid response to emergencies, and the improvement of infrastructure across the local government.

“This is not just about restoring power; it’s about restoring normalcy and protecting lives. We will continue to act promptly to address the needs of our people,” the chairman said.

Residents have since expressed appreciation for the prompt intervention, commending the chairman for his proactive leadership and dedication to the development of Moba land.
